This story is the result of a challenge issued on the RRyaoi Mailing List.  The challenge was to take a random Ranma 1/2 video or manga, open or fast-forward it to an equally random point, watch five minutes, and then write a yaoi story based off of what you saw or read.  I had my husband chose and fast-forward the video for me, and in my opinion I got very lucky.  I ended up with the last five minutes of the episode Am I Pretty?  Ranma's Declaration of Womanhood!  After a short introduction, this story starts up immediately following Akane punting Happosai out her bedroom window.

All characters herein belong to Rumiko Takahashi.  

This is a comedy/drama.  I am trying to follow the fairly standard Ranma anime episode formula which seems to run somewhat like this:  Random Humorous Situation Occurs - Characters React - Situation Evolves into a Bigger Comedic Mess - Characters React - Serious and Often Dramatic Consequences Result - One or More Characters End Up in Some Sort of Danger - Situation is Resolved, Usually With Some Personal Insight and a Dash of Comedy - Episode Concludes on Light-Hearted and Once Again Humorous Note.

This story is currently rated NC-17, simply because of the yaoi-istic subject matter and a small amount of angst and violence.  The rating may change depending on my whims.
